
Dr. Jake Deutsch
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Jake Deutsch is the Chief Medical Officer and co-founder of Specialty Infusion Centers. His extensive medical experience has greatly contributed to the superior outpatient experience Specialty Infusion provides every patient. Prior to the inception of the state-of-the-art infusion centers, Dr. Deutsch practiced emergency medicine at Hackensack Medical Center and was ranked highest in patient care and satisfaction year after year. By having over 15 years of urgent care experience, Dr. Deutsch is not only a highly specialized practitioner but one that also cares about keeping his patients happy and health.
“Practicing medicine takes more than book smarts and a prescription pad. It’s a balance of listening to patients, making diagnosis, and being compassionate. I am grateful for this gift that my career path has led.” Dr. Deutsch is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and attended University of Massachusetts Medical School. He is currently holds privileges in the Mount Sinai Health System. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Deutsch regularly appears on CBS and Fox News as a trusted medical source.

Michelle Feldman, MSN, AGNP-C
Assistant Medical Director
Michelle Feldman joined Specialty Infusion Centers in 2019 and quickly grew to the role of Assistant Medical Director. Michelle is a Nurse Practitioner and graduated Cum Laude from Emory University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then went onto attend The University of Pennsylvania, the number one Nurse Practitioner program for the last four years, and graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing, with a special focus in Adult-Gerontology Care.
With her background in both private practice and inpatient care, Michelle is an expert in infusion therapy across many specialties, including Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, Neurology, Endocrinology among many more. An active member of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, Infusion Nurses Society and UJA’s Young Healthcare Committee, Michelle enforces a high standard of care and up to date evidence-based practice at all of Specialty Infusion Centers’ sites.
Understanding the complicated infusion therapy process for both patients and providers, Michelle helps cultivate a safe environment for patients and communicates frequently with referring providers to ensure all orders are accurately carried out.
Michelle has a unique way of making patients feel at ease by taking the extra time to educate and provide support in personable and relatable way. Michelle strives to guarantee the best possible clinical outcomes, while cultivating a stress-free and safe experience for all patients.

Miho Jo, MS, RN, FNP-C, AOCNP
Miho Jo has been a Nurse Practitioner at Specialty Infusion Centers since December 2018.
Miho says Specialty Infusion is her “heart and home”. She treats every one of her patients as if she were caring for her own family. Her career in nursing spans the last 18 years, and she continues to love what she is doing as a professional and learns more about patient care every day. Miho’s passion and competence are a result of her vast experience as a certified critical care nurse, a certified family nurse practitioner, an advanced oncology certified nurse practitioner, and a nurse volunteer in several countries.
Specialty Infusion Centers has allowed her to grow as a provider by being solely responsible for patient and family care and has helped her achieve a higher level of clinical knowledge and skills.

Dr. Kay Keise, DNP, MSN, MS, BSN, NP-C
Kay Keise is an Adult Nurse Practitioner, licensed by the state of New York. Her scope of practice encompasses health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis and management of common and complex health care problems beginning in young adulthood and continuing throughout the aging process. Following the completion of her Bachelors of Science degrees in both nursing and psychology, Kay received a Master of Science in Nursing with a subspecialty in Adult Health from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York. She received Doctoral degrees in Clinical Practice and Psychology from Walden University.
Kay has been working in nursing since 2002 in a variety of medical and academic settings and has a unique combination of strong nursing skills and psychological expertise, allowing her to provide the best health care possible. Kay is a member of several professional organizations including the American College of Nurse Practitioner, The Nurse Practitioner Association of New York and Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing, and The National Society of Leadership and Success.
Kay has authored several professional publications and peer-reviewed scholarly articles. She resides in the scenic Hudson Valley with her family – including her dog Bella!

Rushelle Bernett, MSN, FNP-BC
Rushelle Bernett is a board-certified nurse practitioner and has worked in healthcare for over 13 years. Knowing at a young age that nursing and patient care were her true calling, she planned early and graduated high school as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Rushelle then went on to receive her undergraduate degree as a Registered Nurse at the New York City College of Technology, and then her master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner at Long Island University.
After receiving her master’s, Rushelle spent the next 10 years as an RN specializing in long-term care, oncology, medical / surgical, ED, and dialysis. She is excited to provide specialty infusion and injection therapy at our Bronx and Long Island centers.

Melissa Robinson, MSN, FNP-BC
Melissa Robinson is accomplished Nurse Practitioner and brings over 16 years of experience to Specialty Infusion Centers in Syosset. Her prior work at Long Island’s community hospitals allowed her to build a strong foundation focused on providing the highest level of patient care. She is proud to be a member of the Specialty Infusion team and work with exceptionally well-managed and cohesive staff members.
Prior to her career in nursing, Melissa excelled academically. She completed her undergraduate studies at Suffolk Community College and then went on to receive her bachelor’s and master’s degree from Long Island University. Melissa is bilingual in English and Spanish, which has enhanced her experience within academics and the field of nursing.
