HIZENTRA® is a subcutaneous immune globulin used to treat Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy and Primary Immunodeficiency.
HIZENTRA® is manufactured by CSL Behring.
Administration and Dosage:
Administration of HIZENTRA® is dependent on the patient’s IgG levels at start of therapy.
Common Side Effects:
The more common side effects of HIZENTRA® include thrombosis, kidney problems, blood clots, meningitis, brown or red urine, rapid heart rate, yellowing of the skin or eyes, chest pains or breathing trouble, and fever over 100°F.
